What's the Readiness score?

When you open your prep checklist, you'll see a live percentage — for example '81% ready, 14 to go'. It's the share of product types you and your partner have decided on (either confirmed a product or marked 'we don't need this'). Every decision the two of you make ticks it up, so you always know where you stand.

What does 'Decide next' do?

Tap Decide next on the readiness card and you'll see a category-grouped sheet of every product type you haven't sorted yet. Skip the ones you don't need with one tap or jump straight to options for the rest. It's the fastest way to push your readiness percentage up.

How does Discover swipe work?

Discover is a Tinder-style swipe deck of curated products. Pick a deck (Getting Around, Nursery Setup, Sleep & Comfort, Feeding, Baby Care, Health & Safety, Little Outfits, Play & Discover) and swipe right to save to your wishlist or left to skip. When you and your partner both like the same item, you'll see a match modal — and it goes straight to your shared wishlist.

Can both partners vote on products?

Yes! Both partners can give thumbs up or thumbs down on every product. You'll see each other's votes in real-time. When both partners vote yes, the item automatically moves to your shared wishlist. This ensures you're both on the same page about what to buy.

How does the AI URL extraction work?

For items that aren't in our curated catalog — a niche retailer, an Etsy find, a hand-me-down link from a friend — paste the product URL and our AI extracts the name, brand, price, image, and even the right category. It works with Amazon, John Lewis, Boots, Mothercare and thousands more retailers.

How does progress tracking work?

You can see what percentage complete each category is, how many items need partner votes, and which items have been confirmed or purchased. The dashboard gives you a clear view of exactly how ready you are for baby's arrival.

Can I add products manually if I don't have a URL?

Absolutely! Whilst the AI URL extraction is super convenient, you can always add products manually. Just click 'Enter details manually' and fill in the product name, category, price, and any other details you want to track. Perfect for items you found in store or hand-me-downs from family.

What's the difference between wishlist and confirmed?

Accepted Answer

Items move to your 'wishlist' when both partners vote yes (thumbs up). This means you both agree you want it, but haven't bought it yet. 'Confirmed' items are ones you've actually purchased or received. You can track purchase dates, where you bought it from, and order references for confirmed items.

The shopping list is currently designed for you and your partner to organise and decide together. Whilst we don't have public registry sharing yet, you can export your wishlist items or share specific product links with family and friends manually. Registry sharing features are on our roadmap!
